Miniature Bearing

A precision small-format bearing with bore diameter under 10mm, used in dental handpieces, drones, instruments, and micro-motors.

What Is a Miniature Bearing?

A miniature bearing is a precision ball bearing with a bore diameter of 10mm or less. Despite their small size, these bearings are manufactured to the same (or tighter) tolerance standards as full-size bearings, often ABEC-5 or ABEC-7 class.

Applications

Dental handpieces, drones and UAVs, fishing reels, skateboard wheels (608 series), medical devices, small electric motors, and precision instruments. Available from JTEKT/Koyo and NSK through SMS Bearings.
